On Saturday we decided to take our bike and go to the big grocery store one town away. We started riding our bikes and were amazed that we didn't see anyone else. The weather was beautiful! All of a sudden we saw right of us people biking behind the houses. Little did we know that the actual bike road was right there. So we continued and all of a sudden we found ourselves on this huge two lane roundabout. We biked so fast as if our life depended on it and after a lot of asking for directions we finally made it to the 'Eroski'. We decided to buy some DVD's to keep us entertained at night.
We aren't used to they daily rythm of the Spanish lifestyle. Between 2 and 5 you don't see anyone outside. People are honestly having their siesta. And what are we doing? Well, we are riding our bikes during the hottest time of the day. After we got home from the store we decided to check out our town. We went on a quest to find wireless internet. No internet, but we did find a bakery and a video rental place! We found a "cybercafe" but once we looked inside, the only thing we saw were old men playing cards ... no computers or anything that looked "cyber".
Today was our first day of school. In our class of education there are 7 Dutch girls and 1 guy from Finland. Not "very" international but just as much fun. We took a tour around the school and had some practical information.
